Wowzers, we were hit with a storm! It seemed like we would never stop hearing about it, but it did indeed come through. It started snowing at about noon on Friday and did not stop until 4ish today. I loved it. We went to bed with a bit of snow on the ground and woke up unable to open our front door. We have so much going on right now, it was really quite lovely to be house bound and spend some time together. We not only played games, but we also packed for our pending trip to California, which means this anxiety ridden mama can finally rest. I'm not scared to fly, by any means, I'm scared to fly with this crazy 3 year old! It will be an adventure, of that I am sure. So, thank you, Nemo, for allowing me some time to get so many things done and remember how lovely snow days are indeed.
Eskimo style at the Grant abode...yes, it was that cold.
So unsure if he likes the whole snow thing...
After an afternoon walk to the ocean, we decided to end the evening with a little fondue...
and my favorite, pink bubbly (love the resealable cork that Yellowtail makes...genius!)
A million thanks to the mister who spent 8 hours outside digging us out...we do, after all, have a Star Wars birthday party for Ollie tomorrow! I never thought I'd see icicles hanging off his beard...and like it for that matter! Whether you wake up in the tropics or the tundra, happy weekend, my friends...make it a good one!
Wow....that is amazing!!!!! Glad all are okay, and I hope it melts soon!!
