We came home from a night out to find this: two of our littles cuddling in bed together. It is a big deal because these two really do not get along. Oh, they love each other, but they fight quite a bit. It is a constant process to mend, shape, and sustain a healthy relationship between Ava and Oliver. They are so much alike in their fierce will, unwavering stubborness, and inflexibility. So, when I came home to see this, my heart melted into a pool of liquid love. Turns out, Oliver was sad because we were out, so Ava climbed up in his bed, sang to him, held his hand, and rubbed his back. She stayed there all night because she didn't want to leave his side in case he woke up scared again. It is these moments that make all of this so worth it. Happy Sunday, my friends.
Very sweet....
